We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team at a luxury residential property in Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to connect prospective tenants with their perfect home. This role involves showcasing the property, guiding prospective tenants through the leasing process, and ensuring an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing and Marketing

    • Conduct property tours and highlight the features, amenities, and benefits of living in a luxury residential community.

    • Respond promptly to inquiries via email, phone, and in person, providing detailed information about available units and leasing terms.

    • Assist in implementing marketing initiatives to attract and retain tenants, including digital campaigns and local outreach.

  • Resident Relations

    • Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the leasing and renewal process.

    • Address tenant concerns or maintenance requests by coordinating with the property management team.

  • Administrative Duties

    • Process lease applications, verify tenant qualifications, and manage lease agreements.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leasing activities in the property management software.

    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience as a Leasing Agent or in a customer-facing real estate role, preferably in luxury residential properties

  • Strong understanding of the Brooklyn real estate market and luxury living trends

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, Rent Manager) and Microsoft/Google Office Suite

  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed to accommodate prospective tenants' schedules

  • A valid New York real estate license is required.
